R-Instat provides a front-end to R, designed to broaden the users of the software, particularly in Africa. Go to Settings → System → Software Updates . Your device will automatically check for available updates.

If you encounter difficulties during or after the update process, use these troubleshooting steps to resolve them:

Ensure the file is completely unzipped and ends in a .bin extension.

The receiver will reboot automatically. Do not power off during this process, or you may damage the box. Method 2: Online/OTA Software Update
